Vodafone donates 300 SIM cards to help vulnerable clients access technology

Mobile phones can be a lifeline to many of City Hearts’ clients. They allow them to access services, stay in touch with friends, contact their caseworkers, and generally stay connected to the outside world.

As part of a programme to eradicate digital exclusion and help vulnerable people access technology, Vodafone has donated 300 SIM cards to City Hearts, which will go to people across our services.

The SIM cards come with unlimited calls, texts and 20GB data per month for 6 months.

City Hearts Development Officer, Sarah Sanabria, said: “We are very grateful to Vodafone for their SIM card donation and for raising the profile on the importance of Digital Inclusion. We know it will have a huge impact on the lives of the vulnerable people we support and will help them to stay connected during this time where so many services have moved online.’

A big thank you to Vodafone for your support and for raising the profile on the importance of Digital Inclusion.”
